personality Although his emotions are reserved, Jason is a sweet guy. He tends to keep to himself, but is always willing to lend an ear. Jason feels a strong need to help those who can't help themselves, and often volunteers his time at the animal shelter, FTR Association, and food drives for the homeless. One of his biggest weaknesses is trusting too easily. Jason has a habit of seeing only the good in others, and has trouble recognizing the bad. Despite his idealism, Jason is enthusiastic about the world around him, even when the people in it are not so good.
dislikes - Animal cruelty. - Destruction of the environment. - Men who abuse or talk down to women. - Ice in the Winter; it's hazardous! - Snobby attitudes. - Liars.
imperfections - Too modest around women. - Domineering; likes to do things his own way. - Can sometimes be impatient. - Bottles his emotions. - Too idealistic regarding other people. - Can be rather introverted.
biography Jason was raised by loving parents in the state of Colorado. He has a large Italian family across seas, but grew up knowing his mother's side of the family. His grandfather was a cattle rancher in a small Coloradan town. Despite his Italian roots, Jason is meant for the rugged outdoors. Country life is like no other. His accent is hardly what you would call Italian. Jason would consider his accent "normal," or standard American English. With its population of people from all over the country, the Coloradan accent is especially neutral, with exception of a few pronunciations.
Despite his call to the wild, Jason spent a few years studying at the University of Colorado in the City of Boulder. He hated college life. The people who he considered "friends" only used him for test answers. He wasn't into the partying scene, and never really felt comfortable in Boulder. Even though he was only months away from receiving his Bachelors in ???, Jason left Boulder and his studies behind in order to return home and take on environmental studies. His parents were very displeased when they found out that their son had given up his studies, and missed the opportunity to receive a Bacherlors Degree.
Unable to convince his parents that the life they wanted for him just wasn't what he wanted, Jason set off to find his own direction. After hopping from one town to the next, he finally settled down in Hunter Creek where he was hired as a handyman at Taisewell Stables. He spent a couple of years working for the owners of Taisewell before he was asked to be a foreman. The owners have always been like family to Jason. He was loyal to them, and happy to have finally found his way in life as he discovered the wild horses in Hunter Creek.
Appalled by the population control methods being used in the nearby state of Nevada, Jason decided to volunteer with the Free to Roam Association. Ever since then, his goal in life has been to help protect the wildlife native to Colorado, including the wild mustangs who represent the very freedoms of the country.
